We offer 3 packages for residential conferences, each has a minimum of 12 guests; full details below. Please note, only one package per group per booking is possible.
Exclusive Use – All groups on any package with over 23 guests have exclusive use of Charney Manor. For groups on any package with between 12 -22 guests we can offer a 24hrs price of £800.00 to have exclusive use of our site.
Otherwise, all groups will share the site but will have exclusive use of the conference rooms allocated to them on booking.

Charney Manor offers a variety of meeting rooms and a range of facilities in a peaceful and inspiring setting. It provides an attractive venue for conferences, training events and retreats. For Meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences and significant events, we have two large beautiful and historic rooms.
The Solar - Up to 30 people
Meeting Space at Charney Manor
The Solar, one of the oldest parts of Charney Manor (dating back to the 13th century), is located on the first floor of the Manor House. Its stunning wooden beam roof enhances the room’s unique atmosphere and historical charm. The peaceful ambiance of the Solar invites reflection and relaxation, making it the ideal meeting space. The room features beautiful stone windows, wooden floors, and offers a picturesque view of the historic St. Peter’s Church and the Manor’s meticulously maintained gardens. The Solar can accommodate up to 30 people.
Seating arrangements are flexible and can be tailored to suit any group’s needs. We also provide tables, flip charts, and audiovisual equipment upon request.
Adjacent to the Solar, the Chapel, an original part of the Manor House, offers an intimate setting for smaller gatherings, seating up to 8 people.
The Barn - Up to 45 people
Conference Space at Charney Manor – The Converted Barn
The Converted Barn at Charney Manor provides a unique and versatile meeting room that maintains the charm of its original structure, with stunning wooden beams adding character. Located on the first floor of an adjacent building to the Manor House, this event space is accessible by lift and can accommodate up to 45 people. The Barn Conference Room offers flexibility with various setups, such as boardroom, theatre, horseshoe, or open layout—whichever best suits your group’s needs.
The Lower Barn is available in conjunction with the conference room, making it ideal for refreshment breaks or for groups seeking a self-contained space, such as silent retreats. We can tailor the arrangement of chairs, tables, flipcharts, Wi-Fi speakers, stereo system, TV & DVD, and audiovisual equipment to your specific requirements.
Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the Manor buildings, along with sweets and bottled water in the conference rooms. For accessibility, hearing loops can also be provided upon request.
Small Meeting Rooms - Up to 10 people
Library Meeting Space at Charney Manor
The Library at Charney Manor offers a serene and inspiring setting, complete with a diverse collection of books and a stunning view over the beautiful gardens. Located on the ground floor, opposite the sitting room, it is the ideal space for rest, relaxation, and contemplation. Perfect for small group meetings or conferences, the Library can accommodate up to 10 guests.
The Library is arranged with 10 chairs set in a circle, offering a collaborative environment. Additional meeting tools such as flip charts, a mobile screen, and a projector are available to suit your presentation needs. A large table is also available, which can be placed in the center for more formal meetings.
The Library benefits from original stone-carved windows, providing a charming atmosphere and stunning views over the well-maintained gardens. During warm weather, you also have the option to move your meeting outdoors to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Charney Manor.
